OUR VALUES
Ten values bring clarity to the things that matter most at Faith. They guide how we achieve our mission, influence major leadership decisions, and help decide everyday decisions. They even help us navigate staffing and budget issues. In short, they keep us focused on the keeping the main thing, the main thing.
Jesus: There is nothing sacred except Jesus. This means no method, practice, or style will ever be more important, or get in the way, of the message of Jesus. We believe the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.
Community: We need each other. In order to accomplish our mission we need each other so we can grow spiritually and build one another up in faith.
Hospitality: Everyone is welcome. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do; Faith values all people just as Jesus does.
Loving Relationships: Loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life. This includes the concepts of love-driven ministry, ministry accomplished in teams, and relationship building.
Proclaiming the Gospel: Lost people matter to God, and therefore, they matter to us. This belief drives us to live and proclaim the Gospel through relational evangelism and evangelism as a process.
Excellence: Honor Jesus in all we do. We do things with excellence because it honors Jesus and inspires others.
Service: Saved people, serve people. Serving others is simply following the example of Jesus. Jesus served others in all ways, even by giving His life for us.
The Bible: God’s Word is our filter. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe its words are invaluable in the strengthening of our relationship with God and with others and are useful for the building up and equipping of the church.
Celebration: We have received a precious gift, a life abundant now, and a hope to look forward in eternity. We celebrate everything for His glory!
Generosity: Time, talent, treasure. Everything on earth is the Lord’s. Knowing this we should be a people who are open handed with everything He has provided.
